Business Transformation Architect, Senior

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop architectures, roadmaps, frameworks, and models for Coordinated Model.
- Identify, document gaps and resolutions for the GC and TBS Policies and requirements impacting enterprise Coordinated Model standards, services, processes, and solutions
- Develop the DCP CoE strategy, policies, standards, and guidelines (Requirements, Project, Development, Testing, Maintenance, Change and Release Management)
- Design services and delivery model for ALM enabled by SAP Focused Build R2D and CHARM to support the Coordinated Model, the GC Digital Core, and the preservation of the integrity of the GC Digital Core Template
- Design and develop CoE services, processes and functionality pertaining to: o IT Service Management (ITSM) o Roles and Access provisioning o Change and Release Management
- Analyze functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows to establish the DCP Release Schedule
- Evaluate existing departmental ALM processes, procedures, and methods for Project Management, Requirements, Development, Testing, and Maintenance
- Identify and document standards relating to privacy and use of data from Human Resource Management Systems in CoE processes. • Guide outreach and engagement workshops, facilitate discussions and document decisions related to design and implementation of CoE ALM and Coordinated model elements (Project Management, Requirements, Development, Testing, and Maintenance)
- Support onboarding engagement sessions with OGDs, facilitate discussions and document decisions related to preparation, adoption, and use of CoE standards, services, processes, and solutions including checklists, R2D methodology and Focused Build.
- Create and/or coordinate development of presentations, decision/change requests, briefing notes and other material as required to support DCP Governance, Architecture and Review Board meetings
- Document summary information about CoE projects and activities that support the DCP Releases (e.g., scope, tasks, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables).
- Document resourcing and scheduling information regarding projects and activities that will in time implement the target-state architecture model (e.g., scope, milestones, and dependencies).
- Collaborate with OCIO, OCG, CHRO, and OGD subject matter experts as required.
- Create and/or coordinate development of related presentations as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of ten years experience as a Business Transformation Architect conducting a minimum of 5 out of 6 tasks listed below: 1) Analysis and development of business success “critical success factors”. 2) Analysis and development of architecture requirements design, process development, process mapping, and training. 3) Responsible for leading other functional staff to define business strategy and process in support of transformation and change management activities. 4) Participate in change impact analysis and change management activities. 5) Participate in organizational realignment (organizational restructuring). 6) Responsible for development of training and coordinating with other stakeholders. 7) Create presentations and present to various stakeholders and facilitate meetings and discussion.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Business Transformation Architect working on a Government of Canada enterprise-wide* S/4 Hana upgrade or implementation project using Solution Manager 7.2 Focused Build
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience providing strategic advice and guidance, in projects delivering Government of Canada (GoC) enterprise-wide shared ERP systems linked to a GoC Corporate Services transformation program/initiative in the following domains: Finance, Human Resources, or Material management
- Minimum of two Government of Canada policies or standards associated to a Government of Canada enterprise-wide system and/or data complex project in the following domains: Finance, Human Resources, or Material management
- University degree (PhD, Graduate, Undergraduate degree) in Computer Science, Finance or Economics
