RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop Training on AI for senior leadership:
  • Develop recommendations for AI training for leadership that will help enhance AI literacy and an understanding of the strategic importance of AI for defence;
  • Develop recommendations on how AI could be leveraged within DND/CAF in both the corporate and military aspects of the department;
  • Collate current training available into a useable format for management;

Develop an AI manual:
  • Develop recommendations on foundational concepts of AI: what it is and what it is not, and terminology typically associated with AI;

Develop AI use Cases:
  • Develop potential use cases of current examples of AI within DND/CAF;
  • Provide recommendations to scale use cases across the enterprise.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 8+ years of experience working as a Business Consultant;
  • University degree in a related field;
  • Relevant professional certifications;
  • 2+ years of work experience related to Identification of capabilities required to implement AI;
  • 8+ years of experience
  1. advising senior management within the Canadian Public Sector (such as municipal, provincial, Canadian Crown corporation or Canadian Federal department) for at least one of the following areas: Business Roadmaps; Stakeholder engagement; Proof of concepts;
  2. briefing and making recommendations to organizational leadership, in formats including: Briefing decks; Briefing notes; Memos; Reports; Executive Summaries; Spreadsheets and databases;
  3. in research, analysis and strategy related to at least one of the following: AI implementation; Data-enabled transformation; Data and AI ethics; Digital innovation; Developing Training materials for culture and literacy;
  • Fluent English.
